Formal Coaching

- As no schools were operational due to the pandemic, RMF started providing informal schooling to about 55 children of the village.
- They are being tutored by students of Viswabharti & Burdwan S University, who volunteered their time as teachers for these children.

Inter Village Sports Competition




- Organized inter-village competitions in popular sports like football etc.
- Saheb Danga Children emerged as clear winners in all formats which reinforced our conviction that RMF presence is bringing perceptible change in the overall development of children.
- All participants were presented with water bottle apart from trophies
to the winners
Festivals & National Day’s Celebrations




Team Building Activities
- Conducted Taekwondo Training through RMF volunteer Budhiswar Mondal, which helped the children learn about teamwork and discipline & self-defense.
- These children Participated in Distt level Taekwondo Championship in Bolpur and won five medals including one gold in various age groups.
- These are the children who were totally naïve about the world outside their village, leave aside competing in any event.
- This activity infused lot of self-esteem and pride not only in children, but also their families.




Installing Streetlights




RMF assisted in installing streetlights in the lanes of the Sahebdanga village, which up until this point, had remained sunken in the total darkness during the night
Training towards self-sustenance
- The village’s adults have been trained towards self-sustenance, organized through Gram Panchayat.
- Under this program, they are trained to develop hatcheries and cultivate mushrooms.
- Gram Panchayat has also provided an egg hatching machine to the village.

In contination to the above feat achieved few months back, Birbhum District counsellor for school games and sports Taekwondo selected SahebDange village total 6 student
