Lemmet Chishut Scholarship
The Scholarship will provide financial support to the underprivileged children of Manipur Village, amounting to Rs. 2500/– per month.

This initiative is the product of two educators: Project Director Mr. Mathanmi Hungyo, who is a Master in Social Sciences, and Mrs. Vrinda Madan of Teach For India.
Mr. Hungyo is an ardent reformer in the region and has experience inspiring a young team of volunteers to support the development of educational infrastructure in remote areas of Manipur.

To start with, we have supported six children — three each from the 4th standard and 7th standard – for whom we will take care of living and educational expenses.
“The ultimate goal is to pick three from each class starting from the 4th standard, and then continue to support them in higher education, whoever gets in through his own efforts and merits.”
